Changing Academic Ways Due to Online Courses

     Education is right now going through an experimental phase and one of the biggest players in the field is online education. An advantage of distance learning or online education is that it can allow thousands of students to attend a course. They invite students from all over the world to enroll in them and access its e-learning database.


An online course through an accredited online educational platform allows students access to information material, something which was previously only offered to students in on campus colleges. An online course does not simply include recorded lectures, audio and video clips; although these elements are required for a student to understand a skool subject, they can in no way fulfill the presence of an instructor. Hence online education platforms also ensure the availability of online instructors which communicate and solve students' problems through online chat rooms, discussion boards, webinar, and social media platforms like Skype. These educators often invite renowned individuals from relevant industries to speak and advise students on the subject through guest speaker sessions.


Researchers have found out that online education give students a greater sense of responsibility, independence and motivation. Some students are not used to a teacher constantly looking over their shoulders and like to explore things on their own. A distant education is good for them as it allows them independence to finish their assignments and projects at their own pace without the stress of a professor constantly supervising them.
