Sex Talk for Christians and Relationships Pt 1
Wait a minute; should be talk about sex in Christian gatherings? What should sex talk be doing in a Christian circle or church, where we should be talking about holiness unto the Lord? Your guess I bet is not as good as mine. You see, that notion is based on that wrong programming that sex is a hidden talk, that it is the talk between a guy and a babe only; about climbing to the heights of ecstasy, it's really not what we should be talking here right? No dear,
you are wrong, like billion that exist on this planet, you've really got it all wrong. This actually is a discussion that should start first from the home, then God's sanctuary before it hits the sex thuis streets. However, the reverse is the case. We first get our understanding of sex from all the wrong sources. We get it from the screens and the streets, because at home it's a taboo to even bring it up. However as we key into God's divine order for this time, the author and designer of sex wants us to get the 'Redefinition of Sex'.
To start with, sex ultimately is an act of worship to God, sex in real terms as God ordained, is holiness unto the lord, so in actual fact sex starts from our closet, our first port of worship. It is actually an intercourse of the mind and the spirit which is eventually reflected through our bodies. In prayer, we start a climb to higher realms of glory,
as we climb on in that pilgrimage we come to a point, where thee is a breakthrough; a spiritual peak where we know we have definitely communicated. You see sex just like prayer is a form of communication. When it is done right you will definitely feel that an emotional cleansing has taken place: that your heart has been circumcised; where a divine connection that makes whole is made. It is a place where a holy covenant is reactivated.
I pray that as we sanctify our minds to understand sex, the purity and sanctity of the discourse will be revealed, that as our minds are renewed in this knowledge, we will give it the due honor it commands in our lives.
